German Teachers Lausanne

The Young Swiss Learners Tutoring Team is looking for native speaking German teachers for our growing school in Lausanne.

Are you a fun and dynamic person? Are you flexible and easy-going? Do you love working with children and teenagers from all different backgrounds and language levels?

If yes, then we are looking for part-time German teachers to teach on Wednesday and Friday afternoons from January to June 2019 for 3 to 6 hours.

Private lesson hours will also be available based on client demand. The ideal candidate will also be available to teach our intensive language programs during the Easter and summer school holidays in 2019. The candidate must be a qualified teacher or in-training presently. They should have teaching or tutoring experience with children and/or teenagers. Paid training will be provided for all new teachers before classes begin. The candidate should also be able to communicate with other teachers in English or French (at least B1 level).

English/German/French Teachers (Lausanne, Geneva, Montreux)

Leading group of language schools with over 25 years of experience and success is recruiting dynamic English/German/French teachers who have previous experience in working with children or teenagers in a school and/or learning environment. We are looking for someone who is flexible, interested in working with students at different language levels/abilities and willing to work part-time hours and especially during intensive holiday periods such as Easter, all summer (July/August) and autumn. This person would also be on-call to cover sick teachers or teachers on vacation during the school year for Young Swiss Learners. This person would teach a combination of group classes and private lessons throughout the year. Full training will be provided.

Requirements

  • Must be native speakers (not C2)
  • Have a CELTA (or equivalent teaching certificate)
  • Previous experience with kids in some capacity (teaching, summer camps, projects etc…)
  • Be available on Saturday mornings and flexible during the week
